Brief
Overview: Illustration and design for a hardcover fantasy novel for Upper Young Adult (16-25 aprox). Moody, immersive, dramatic visuals that reflect the novel’s dark fantasy tone.
Deliverables:
- Dust jacket illustration with the female lead, integrated with the spine and the back cover illustration of a dark forest scene with the heroine on horseback with a crow.
- Hardcover design (printed case) without the dust jacket.
- Illustrated endpapers with 2 landscapes, one with the heroine and one with the villainess.
- Interior map illustration of the fictional world.

THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY
Brief
Overview: Illustration and design for a special edition of “The Picture of Dorian Gray”, for Juvenile readers (14-20 aprox), and Adults. Eye-catching colors and anime-like inspiration for YA and flower motifs; on the other hand, soft, “romantic” look proposal for Adult audience. Third proposal, give a more gothic design appealing to the novel’s genre, illustrated for Adult audience.
Deliverables JUVENILE:
- Hard cover illustration of Dorian Gray, spine and back cover design.
- Illustrated endpapers, floral motif and a quote from the book: “La única forma de librarse de la tentación es caer en ella.”
Deliverables ADULT:
- Hard cover illustration, use motifs or metaphors of the theme of the book, spine and back cover design.
- Illustrated endpapers, floral motif, repetitive pattern to give a classic look.
Deliverables GOTHIC:
- Hard cover illustration, darker tone, redish colors.
- Make a pattern for the endpapers, inspired by gothic elements.

LOVE FOR FASHION
Brief
Overview: Illustration and design for a contemporary romance novel, “Love for fashion”, for Juvenile readers (14-20 aprox), and Adults. Eye-catching colors and stylized characters, warm colors, contrasting color palette, modern outfits, background with some saturated elements.
Deliverables:
- Hard cover illustration of the main characters: “Rosalva” (latin young woman), and “Deon” (african-american man). Both with maximalism outfit elements, contrasting color palette. Ages between 25-30, Rosalva has pitch black hair, a mole on her upper left side of the mouth, uses many accesories. Deon has dark brown hair and uses rings. Characters must be interacting with each other, cheesy or funny poses that represent the “enemies to lovers” trope.
