Hi! I'm María,
Graphic designer by profession, visual artist and illustrator by passion, I’m passionate about storytelling and the power of color. My mission is to create visuals that not only capture attention but also invite viewers into a world of emotion and meaning.
Through illustration and design, I love exploring ways to connect people with stories that fell both personal and universal. My work often weaves together atmosphere, narrative and detail to spark a sense of wonder.
I believe that art is a bridge that connects ideas, cultures and emotions… I aim to bring that magic into every project I create.
My journey
Ever since I can remember, I’ve had colored pencils in my hands.
Since I wasn’t able to take proper drawing classes, I’ve been a self-taught artist, curious about experimenting with different analog techniques like colored pencils, alcohol markers, acrylic, oil painting, ink… and the list goes on.
I studied one year and a half of Communication in Universidad Anáhuac México, to change to another university, where I graduated from Graphic Design. I’ve taken a specialized course at Cursiva, affiliated to Penguin Random House, to become “Editorial Designer Specialist”.
Based in México, México, I work remotely with clients.
